I think I can be quite safe in saying (because you're reading this) that you are drawn to inner work. I don't doubt that you've tried out all kinds of techniques and modalities and are open to ways of creating a better life experience for yourself. 🤗
Whether that's EFT Tapping. Or other techniques like acupuncture or Reiki. Or exploring the power of the mind with hypnosis or gratitude practices. The list is endless.
And there is one, perhaps the most ancient and widespread, that you've almost certainly tried, maybe multiple times, possibly with varying degrees of success.
Meditation.
I can't even remember when I first attempted to meditate. Probably in my 20s, so a looong time ago.
And of course I felt all the usual frustration at my monkey mind and my inability to stay centred and present. I picked it up and abandoned it time after time. Because it just wasn't much fun and I felt that I'd never get to grips with clearing my mind enough to feel any kind of benefit.
How EFT Tapping can aid meditation
Later on, much later, I realized that EFT could be a simple way into better and easier meditation.
Because I noticed that when I tapped round the points my mind stayed much more focused, without much effort at all.
So I tried applying it right before meditating. First acknowledging my frustration and disappointment. Then saying my thoughts out loud ('I get so distracted, this feels impossible'.) And finally stating how I would like to feel instead ('I choose to stay focused and present.') And it really helped.

Fast forward to today.
One of my intentions or goals in 2026 is to do a Loving Kindness Meditation every single day. In case you've never tried that form of meditation, you simply say or think certain phrases, like:
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be free from suffering.
You direct the words at yourself, or at other people, and feel that energy of Loving Kindess flowing through you and out into the world.
Sometimes it's easy, sometimes more challenging. But I truly believe that, if everyone on the planet did this on a regular basis we'd be in a very different place than we are now. ☺️
I was inspired to make a video combining a short EFT Tapping round and a Loving Kindness Meditation and put it up on YouTube.
