About Jenny
Hi, I'm Jenny Clift - EFT Tapping coach, freelance violinist, author and long-term expat living in Madrid.
I help people who know they're capable of more, but find themselves held back by things like anxiety, self-doubt, overthinking, old patterns or beliefs that just don't seem to shift.
My work combines EFT Tapping with thoughtful questions and practical coaching. It's grounded in something I learned through my own experience: sometimes knowing what you should do isn't enough. You can understand the problem perfectly well and still find that some part of you won't move.
That's where working from the inside out can make all the difference.
I came to this work because I needed it myself
My first career was as a musician, and for years I struggled with confidence, self-doubt and the feeling that I wasn’t quite good enough to create the career I really wanted.
I eventually discovered EFT Tapping at a point when I felt stuck between what I was capable of and what I was actually allowing myself to do.
Working with EFT and coaching helped me shift some of those deeply rooted beliefs and patterns. As my confidence changed, so did my choices. I began performing more, creating new projects, writing, teaching, and saying yes to opportunities I would previously have talked myself out of.
What struck me most was that the change didn’t come from forcing myself to 'think more positively.' It came from understanding what was underneath the fear and working with that directly.
That experience changed the direction of my life and eventually led me to train professionally in EFT and Energy Psychology, so I could help other people do the same kind of inner work in their own lives.
What I Believe About Change
I don't believe lasting change comes from pushing yourself harder, thinking more positively, or trying to become a different person.
Often, the things that keep us stuck make perfect sense when we understand what's underneath them. A fear, belief or old pattern may once have been useful - even kept us safe - but that doesn't mean it still needs to run the show.
That's why I approach our work with curiosity and zero judgement. We'll pay attention to what's actually happening for you, rather than deciding what should be happening.
EFT gives us a practical way to work with both the thoughts and the emotional charge underneath them. And coaching helps us turn those shifts into different choices and real-world action.
You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong or how to fix it. That's what we'll explore together.
Training & Experience
My own experience with EFT eventually led me to train professionally, so that I could use the approach safely, effectively and confidently with my clients.
I gained my Energy Psychology Certification with Dr Dawson Church and EFT Universe in 2016, and also trained with Margaret M. Lynch through the Tapping Into Wealth Coach Certification, with a particular focus on money, business and success.
Before training professionally, I spent five years having regular EFT sessions with Brad Yates - so I came to this work first as a client, experiencing for myself what it could change.
Since then I've continued to study and explore other approaches, including coaching, hypnosis, TFT, Ho'oponopono and meditation. And from that toolkit of techniques I get to choose what is relevant to the person and the issue we're actually working with.
A (Long) Life of Creativity, Change & Reinvention
Alongside my coaching work, I've spent much of my professional life as a musician. I'm a classically trained violinist and have worked as a teacher and freelance performer - a career that has taught me plenty about confidence, perfectionism, performance pressure, visibility and the courage to keep putting yourself out there.
I've also built businesses, changed direction more than once, lived and worked across cultures, and written two books: The Music Inside and Thriving Artist: EFT Tapping for Musicians, Performers and Creatives.
None of that has followed a particularly straight line. I've had successful periods, stuck periods, brave decisions, spectacular wobbles and plenty of occasions when I've had to work through my own resistance before taking the next step.
That's part of what I bring to my coaching. I'm not interested in helping people create a better life in theory. I'm interested in helping them make practical changes they can actually live.
